4th of July Feature in the Boston Globe

BOSTON, MA, 11 July 2021 — A story on refugees that ran on Independence Day in The Boston Globe this past 4th of July holiday - it can't get better than that.

The team at International Orchestra of Refugees had plenty to celebrate this week, in addition to the holiday. Check out our feature in the Boston Globe in Sunday’s paper. We shared our important mission to empower displaced and resettled musicians with journalist Mariya Manzhos, and Globe photographer Pat Greenhouse, with coverage on our inaugural studio recording featuring Patron Yemery and an IOR Ensemble at The Record Co.

We are extremely proud of our founder and leader Sebastian Agignoae and the rest of the IOR team for continuing to build powerful relationships and partnerships with global organizations that will help elevate these musicians and share their passion and culture with the rest of the world.
